How to find the radio’s serial number?
  • We do not support Fujitsu and JVCKENWOOD devices.
    1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
    2. Turn on the radio and make sure the display shows the message 'CODE'. If you do not see this message, remove the fuse for 1 minute and then go back to step 1.
    3. Turn off the device.
    4. Press and hold buttons 1 and 6 (radio station selection buttons), then turn the device on.
    5. The display will switch between two screens: U with the first 4 digits of the serial number (U2200 for example) and L with the last 4 digits of the serial number (L0055 for example).
    6. Write down the 8 digits, excluding the letters U and L - this is your radio's serial number. To obtain the code, enter it in the form above.
  • Acura TL 2003 - 2007
    1. Turn the ignition to the ACC (I) position.
    2. Turn on the radio and make sure the display shows the message 'CODE'. If you do not see this message, remove the fuse for 1 minute and then go back to step 1.
    3. Turn off the device.
    4. Press and hold the upper halves of the SEEK/SKIP and CH/DISC buttons, then press and release the PWR/VOL knob. The display will switch between two screens.
    5. The display will switch between two screens: U with the first 4 digits of the serial number (U2200 for example) and L with the last 4 digits of the serial number (L0055 for example).
    6. Write down the 8 digits, excluding the letters U and L - this is your radio's serial number. To obtain the code, enter it in the form above.
  • If the serial number cannot be read from the radio display, it is necessary to remove the radio and read the code from the label on the casing. Example serial numbers: 542533, 10014744, U1001 L4744, GEB29013851, 954LR052, FBPE066260EW, BJ001841.
