How to find the radio’s serial number?
- If you have a 6000 CD radio from 2004 or later, you can read the serial number from the screen by holding down the 1 and 6 keys. Example: V239531 (always starts with V).
- If your radio model is 4500 RDS , simply hold down the 2 and 6 keys. The serial number will appear on the screen in the format: M328991 .
- If you have a different radio model, it may be necessary to remove it and read the code from the label on the radio housing. Examples can be found below.
